Aim, structure and tasks of the organization
- The Federal Association of Company Health Insurance Funds (BKK Federal Association) is the central organisation of approximately 300 company health insurance funds and 8 regional associations. The Company Health Insurance Funds with over 13 million insured persons is the third-largest statutory health insurance scheme in Germany. BKK's principle objective is to guanrantee high-quality payable health care for all insured persons both now and in future, based upon the principle of solidarity. BKK challenges health care providers to be more competitive and to look at innovative concepts of integrated and quality assured services
